Request to Speak

Arizona's Request to Speak (RTS) is an online tool that lets citizens give Arizona state lawmakers our feedback on bills.

You must initially activate your account in person at the State Capitol or Tucson Legislative Office. Not able to do this in person? Visit the link below and we’ll complete your registration for you.

How to Request to Speak

  • Once you have an activated account, go to apps.azleg.gov and sign in.
  • Click on the large blue “Request to Speak” button.
  • Click on “New Request” (column on left).
  • Enter bill number, topic or description in the “Search Phrase” field.
  • In “Search Results,” click “Add Request”
  • Choose your position (thumbs up or down), note if you want to speak or not, add a comment (optional), and click “Submit”
